0 Adventures with My Dad!

I know I haven't posted in a few days, and today I only have a picture of the past to post. I guess this will coincide with "Throw Back Thursdays". Anyways, today I spent my whole day with my dad, I was actually suppose to head out with one of my friends Pau, for some real Parisian cafe experience, but that will be for next week. I felt that I needed some down time with my dad, so the whole day my dad and I went out and had a father-daughter type of day. We went to Yorkdale together, he helped me apply again for jobs (I just graduated so I have been applying for full-time work right now, in between all my outings), brought me out for ice cream, and bought my brother and I dinner. My dad has a very tough exterior, and he is very strict but has a very soft heart, and its all due to everything he has gone through growing up. He helped me learn to appreciate life, to love family, to pray, to be thankful with every simple act, to have faith and live life to the fullest. He has never rushed me into anything and let me do what I want. 

Most of my friends know I do not talk about my dad very often especially since, he is the quiet type. But for the most part we can be very understanding to each other and people may think I am closer to my mom but I guess its because I don't talk about him and my mom is always around and gets along with all my friends, its indeed true, but there are things only my dad understands that my mom would never and thats where we are close.  He always says that I am his little sunshine (although I am already 24 this year O.o). He still treats me like a princess. I learnt today I can't take advantage of the limited time I have left with my parents as they have reach more than half of there lifespan and I have reached almost quarter way. Spend time with your family and friends who are close to you because every breathing moment is very special.

2 Fan Expo

Today my best friends invited to head out with them to the Fan Expo down at the Metro Convention Centre. It was unbelievably packed in the building! So many people were dressed up in cosplay suits or costumes they made themselves. We didn't get to take pictures as it was so crowded inside and we were shy for the most part. Additionally, I am kind of scared of people in cosplay suits for the most part. I don't mind the nice looking ones, but I don't like the ones like the Joker (even though someone really pulled it off well, I was so scared of him) O.o, and all these other anime/comic book characters! It was so much fun to experience!! I didn't get to see the actors/actresses like the guy who played Spock in Star Trek because we got so hungry as we skipped lunch to get in without a big line up. But when we got to Pickel Barrel we saw on tv, that if we stayed longer we would have been able to see them as they went out for break. All in all super fun!!

0 5th Celebration

Today I met with Candace down in the downtown financial district of Toronto. This is the inside of Brookefield Place. It is so pretty! Right after having our luncheon and tea. She took me to a underground passage in the downtown core that goes from Union Station to Eaton's Centre! It was so cool, but I don't think I can go on my own as I would get lost I don't even remember where we turned to?!! Once we got to Eaton's Centre, we walked around, talked, and shopped before I had to leave. I am so tired but it was such a fun day! 

I couldn't contain how happy I was to be able to eat and talk with one of my best friend's Candace.

The food at the restaurant was a Japanese fusion.

I can't it's been 2 weeks and I am still celebrating my birthday!

0 Cute Food

My dear friend Cayla opened up a Youtube channel under the name "pankobunny" (You can click here to see all her latest videos). She is one of my best friend's and left Toronto to pursue her passion of Japanese. She makes the coolest stuff and also teaches Japanese words and culture. Her first few videos were super cool from how to make udon (it looked like those from Naruto :D) to sushi candy! 1 When 1 + 1 Meets.

This is my second trip to Magnum Toronto before their closure, I'm a die hard ice cream girl especially with any types of nuts (such as macadamia, almonds and such). We took a lot of pictures and the ambience was nice as well, its sad to know they are closing next week already!

The unbeatable team.

We headed to Holt's Cafe after for actual food, and from here we can see that the line for Magnum Toronto reached almost 2 stores long by the time we left already!! We talk for hours on end, but it was so relieving to be able to final talk together about everything.

I find I need to start exercising again my upper arms are not getting smaller. Aside from this, this is my friend Aimon, and she is a blogger herself! 0 Its not a Farewell but Till we Meet Again~

Today, I went with my friends DA & KN to have a heart to heart girl talks and also to say farewell to our friend KN as she embarks a new path in her life in Arizona. I will miss her very much!! We have all gone through so much together, and have always been there for one another and to think one of us is already reaching a end of one chapter of their lives and embarking on a new one is both inspirational, and exciting. I hope all the best to you my dearest loved one KN till we meet again. <3 :)

Friends can be apart, but the distance just makes the bonds stronger. 

0 Tuesdays are the Best.

So when we went to the movie theatre to watch "Elysium" in IMAX, the theatre's machines to print our tickets were not working so we had to get it from the customer service desk and this is how they gave it to us. It reminds me of how the older ticket's used to look like before they had them made longer horizontally. Anyways, the movie was pretty okay? I liked it but I don't know if it was my favourite. 0 Celebration #3

Today my family and I decided to eat out for my birthday as we usually always do and because yesterday was much more rushed it felt nice for all of us with my aunt to sit and eat and take time to enjoy everyone's company ^^* the food at this restaurant was pretty good, this is only a few of the things we ordered. We had so much more but everyone was so hungry they couldn't wait for me to take pictures first >.<" 

We headed home and my aunt gave me a shirt from UNIQLO, the shirt is really soft. She travels to the US every 10 months, so next time I am going to ask her for maybe some of there winter heating jeggings to use for winter time :) Also she bought me a ice cream log cake from Dairy Queen, I feel like a little kid as I haven't had this in so long! 

Also as always, my mom bought orchid's on my birthday~~ they are pretty <3 

0 Celebration #2: D-Day

I had a luncheon with one of my closest friends Paula, we had a long talk of catching up from Yonge and Dundas all the way down to Yonge and Bloor (we decided to walk down Yonge St.). Anyways, we ate at Spring Rolls where we celebrated my birhday together. After we headed out to Holt Renfrew where I got my new Chanel lipstick, and after Magnum Toronto for some ice cream (we found out it's closing in August 30th so people in Toronto, you better try some before it leaves the city).

Then I headed to my mom's office to head out with her to pick up the cake and food :') When I got home, half an hour after my best friend DA came over to celebrate my birthday with me and my family. And again lots of Korean food this time (I was so full from all the food at this point). After eating dinner with my family, we decided on a girl's shopping outing, and headed out to Yorkdale. More so, it ended up that my mom bought a dress and found shoes, while me and DA just ended up window shopping. Anyways, all and all a simple birthday, but the time spent was very meaningful. Thank you all also wished me a happy birthday :) <3

Tuesday, August 6th:  I went out with my best friend DA and JA, and my brother. We went to the movies to watch "2 Guns", I really didn't get the movie at some points, but my brother thought it was super good. O.o" Anyways, after the movie's we went to Spoons & Forks to eat dinner. And right after my brother and I went back to the theatre to watch "Red 2" with our parents, I liked this movie much better. ^^*
