0 Soup for those Cold Days

19.11.13

This soup is very nourishing for the winter. I don't usually post on things I personally cook, but thought it would be a good start to do so. Its a fairly simple soup which you can add further ingredients, such as fish or tofu. I hope everyone enjoys!!

Nourishing Everyday Soup (Adapted from Simply Healthy)

2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Small Onion, chopped

0 The End of a Chapter

2.11.13

Last month from today, I had my convocation! It rained at first, but ended with sunshines. I'm finally out of university and ready to start another chapter in my life! Unfortunately, it was so hectic that day, I couldn't take a full picture of my actual dress by itself that day. What a bummer! But after my family and I headed out to an Italian restaurant near Woodbridge, the food was so good! I was so full from all the food, as we had a 5 course meal, but as you can see above the food was so a lot. The osso buco was so tender, it ripped off the bone so nicely. The risotto was nicely cooked and creamy, and the pasta was just as good. My university years allowed me to meet a lot of amazing people, and learn more about myself, I will miss those who are still in university, but I know we will all always meet again soon. And those who have graduated already, I miss you guys! I hope everyone takes time to enjoy the new opportunities we will be given. Good luck on the job hunts ;)

Beauty Wants of the Month.

Left to Right Clockwise: Korres Body Butter, Tarte Clay Eyeliner, Stila 'In the Light' Palette, Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, Korres Lip Butter, Julep Color Treat

I love all the makeup I have in my vanity drawer, but I have been having this feeling that I need to start trying to get makeup that comes from more natural ingredients, and dying to tries these out (aside from the two palette which are a 'real' want). For now, I think I will be finishing up all the makeup I have in my drawer before I go venturing into investing on new makeup.

Alexander Wang Prisma Biker Wallet

My new splurge of the month is my new Alexander Wang Prisma Biker Texturized-Leather Wallet in Plaster. I think is one of my favourite things I have bought in a while, as I find myself in love how the wallet has the pebbled texture and has 2 rose gold screw-detailed corners, which gives off a more rigged, but classy finish to it. The size I find is bigger than a normal small wallet but big enough that you could even act as if it is a clutch. I really needed a multi-purpose wallet and something small to bring along with me to my trip next month. I am really happy with this purchase, it has 8 card holders, and a coin slot, but its super roomy. I don't usually bring a lot of stuff in my wallet when overseas so this wallet does everything I need it to do.
